About/Contact

Hi, I am Rachel!

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting! Let me take a moment to introduce myself!

First of all and most importantly, I am a sinner saved by grace. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was a young girl and He has been working on changing me ever since! My relationship to Him is the most important thing in my life. If you are curious about how you can have that relationship, please check out what I wrote here.

Secondly, I am a teacher. I teach 4th grade at a Christian school in North Carolina. Teaching has been one of the hardest things that I have ever done, but God is teaching me so much through it! I have kept a journal of the different things He has taught me during my few years in the classroom, and I  branched out into blogging a few years ago. To be honest, I argued with God about starting this blog for quite awhile. One of my arguments was that I had not “arrived” as a teacher – if  you stepped into my classroom, you would see someone who is impatient with her students at times, who grumbles, and who makes plenty of mistakes! Chances are that if I am blogging about it, it’s something that God has been convicting me about 🙂 That’s where His grace comes in! He is always working on me, and He’s gotten to do a lot of that work recently in my classroom!

I hope that you have found encouragement through your visit here and that your gaze has been drawn to our amazing God and His awesome grace. To God be the glory!

In Christ,

Rachel

P.S. I love hearing about how God is working in other teachers’ lives as well! If there is anything I can do to help or be an encouragement to you, I would love to hear from you!
